What is the Tourism Task Force?
The Tourism Task Force was created to provide support and information to the tourism and hospitality industry in Palm Beach County threatened by the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. This group brings together tourism businesses and industry leaders in virtual meetings to identify issues and challenges, provide speakers with needed expertise, access to information and a platform for collaborative thinking. Meeting on an as-needed basis, the Tourism Task Force has had a deep field of expert speakers, a stellar roster of attendees and an enthusiastic response from its participants.
Who can join the Tourism Task Force?
The Tourism Task Force is open ONLY to Members and Non-Members in the Hospitality Industries:
- Hotels
- Restaurants
- Attractions
- Meeting Planners
Mission:
Bring together Chamber tourism members, businesses and area leaders to support and promote tourism in Palm Beach County, providing a portal for information, partnerships, and community participation through collaborative and creative leadership.
The Task Force Will:
- Gather information on issues and challenges
- Brainstorm and implement solutions
- Provide a portal for information, partnerships and community participation
