ATHENA Awards
The ATHENA Foundation is dedicated to creating leadership opportunities for women. This prestigious Award Program recognizes individuals on the local, national and international levels. The ATHENA Award recipients are selected for their professional excellence, community service and also for actively and generously assisting women in the attainment of professional excellence.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches hosts an ATHENA luncheon in September.  Finalists are honored in three categories:

Individual: determination in achieving the highest level of professional accomplishment, excel in her chosen field give back to others through assisting women in reaching their full leadership potential.

Business: recognizes innovative practices and programs for women within the organization and promote women in leadership roles.

Young Professional: recognizes an emerging leader under the age of 40 who demonstrates excellence, creativity, and imitative in her business; provides valuable service to her community and is a role model for young women personally and professionally.
