Executive Mentorship

Nothing is more important to the growth of business or the success of our region than attracting and retaining top talent. The Executive Mentorship Program, presented by the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches and the Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches (YPOP), connects ambitious young professionals with high-level business leaders to support each other’s professional and personal development. The idea for this program can be attributed to our 2019 Chamber Chair, Evelyn Hopkins and her dedication to mentorship. We are excited for you to join the Executive Mentorship Program!

What is the time commitment?

The program begins in March and concludes in November (nine-months). Mentors and mentees commit to engaging with their partner 2-3 hours per month and also must be able to attend at least 2 of the 3 mentorship events (event dates are listed below). While we do understand everyone has busy schedules, a commitment to your match and a willingness to invest time and energy are the most important components for a successful mentoring relationship.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost to participate in the program, however there is a nominal cost to attend the chamber breakfast, usually between $45 and $50 per person.

How are the matches determined?

The Executive Mentorship Committee reviews the applications and determines the matches based on the information shared. That being said, we encourage you to be specific and clear in your responses, while also keeping an open mind to mentoring/being mentored by someone who may be outside of your requested industry.

Who can participate?

This program is open to members of the Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches looking to advance their careers and experienced professionals from our Trustee Circle and Board of Directors willing to grow personally and professionally. We are now accepting applications to participate in the 2021 program.

Please note, Young Professionals must be active members of YPOP and the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.
